California dream

Time to go back in memories again. This time we are traveling back to October in 2014.

I flew to California for two weeks, and a part of me is still there.
I was turning 18 and this was my first time flying alone to USA.
My parents were already there to pick me up from the airport.

When traveling to USA you need to have a Visa or Esta. I have always had a Visa, since we used to live in Florida for a few months at a time almost every year.

Well, back to West Coast.

I flew to Los Angeles and we spent a few days just trying to get over jetlag and walking around. In the mornings we rent bikes to bike around the coast.

Of course we also visited Hollywood and went to Universal Studios.

Dad rent a car and we drove around the hills, and went to see the Hollywood sign.

On one of the days, we took a sightseeing bus that drove around Hollywood, and drove by celebrities houses. Some of them even came outside to say hi!

Almost every evening in Hollywood, we walked around the Walk of Fame.

While we had the rental car, we drove up to Griffith Observatorio, it was on the top of a mountain and it has one of the Americas first telescopes.

Next stop: San Francisco

We drove for hours in the middle of nowhere. There was a lot of dingos, and small villages.
We also drove by a fancy car meeting and visited a Haramokngna National Park.

The weather was once again very nice, warm and didn't rain at all.
In San Francisco it wasn't so warm, but sunny.

We bought a sightseeing ferry tour around the famous prison Alcatraz and saw sharks! There is plenty of them. The ferry went underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, but we got a better look when we drove it to the other side.
We also visited aquarium.

With my mom we drove around the city with a Cable Car. The roads were pretty scary, crazy up- and downhills.

After the two weeks, I flew home from Oakland and my parents continued their journey to Florida.

One day I'll be back <3
